The Modelup platform makes it possible to display textual data directly within the control panel. This can be used to present data from Grasshopper related to the configurator, in addition of geometric output visualized in the 3D scene.
Below is an example showcasing this feature. The control panel includes a Plain Text Panel that dynamically displays data about a box. The content of this panel updates automatically with each computation.

Example: Using a Plain Text Panel to display geometric information about a box.
You can test the configurator yourself here: https://configurator.modelup3d.com/?projectId=8mCDmCo7&token=eyJhbGciOiJIUzI1NiJ9.eyJ2NW4iOjEsImlkIjo4MCwicDdkIjoiOG1DRG1DbzciLCJwOXMiOlsiYzVlIiwicl9jMTVhIl0sIm1pIjp7ImRpc2FsbG93Ijp7ImUiOlsxXX19fQ.CnKoYcNHlsWjD35Tb5x8rRVWr0MYJ8VJoNg7QWU-7ek

Plain Text Panel are only available in Modelup Grasshopper plugin version 1.8.9 and later.

The example below demonstrates a simple Grasshopper definition used to create a box. Geometric data about the box is displayed in a Plain Text Panel. Here's how it works:
PlainTextPanel component is added and connected to a StackPanel.PlainTextPanel component's input is initially set to a placeholder value, which will be replaced by computed data from the configurator.BoxProp component.UpdatePlainTextPanel component, which updates the PlainTextPanel created in step 1.UpdatePlainTextPanel is connected to the FormXP output component, finalizing the data flow.

Plain Text Panels can only be used with configurators that include an explicitly defined GUI. This requires a GUI root component in the Grasshopper definition, with a PlainTextPanel component connected upstream.
